Pre-Tupping Products
Once again it's time to think about the condition of ewes in preparation for tupping time. We stock a wide range of pre tupping products including a pre-tupping dose vitamin drench, pre-tupping mineral buckets, tup crayons, raddle powder and more!
In order to ensure both the ewe and the ram perform to their full potential they need to be in good health. It is a good idea to give the ewes a last routine of care, such as foot trimming, dagging and drenching, as it is not good practice to handle ewes during tupping. This is also the time to consider culling any breeding ewes that you do not wish to breed from.
Prior to going to the tup, ewes should be neither too thin nor too fat and should be kept on good grazing a few weeks before the arrival of the tup (increasing the feed available increases fertility). Using pre-tupping buckets and a pre-tupping drench will also improve fertility. Below is our range of pre-tupping products.
