Poultry Wormers

Worming at regular intervals will break the chain of massive production of infective worm eggs and larvae and will prevent reinfection. Deworming the entire farm at the same time is recommended.
Poultry farming on litter, or free-range farming, has gained considerable popularity. Litter provides worms with a new opportunity. Indeed, worm eggs and often vectors as well, such as beetles, thrive on litter and soil. Depending on the species of worm, they may survive for months and even for more than a year. Contact with the litter will cause infection and reinfection. In broilers, however, the risk is limited because the birds are slaughtered at a young age.
