The journey so far
Chris Jeffery and Kate Williamson have been involved in the animal health industry for several years. In February 2004, the business known as Ray Green Animal Health came to the market following the sad and untimely death of Ray. This opportunity to buy an animal health business was too good to miss.
In April 2004 the deal was done and following the first years trading as Ray Green Animal Health, Green Farm Health was born. The name was changed because it describes what we do - sell products which lead to a healthy farm!
Since then, the business has really prospered and there are branches at Northallerton and Thirsk with a shop now open in Malton Market. However the problem was a lack of space everywhere! So when the opportunity came to open a purpose built Head Office, warehouse and shop in the new Thirsk Rural Business Centre, we had to take it. We moved to Thirsk on 4th September 2007. There is ample parking outside the door with good access from the road network.
So, we now have two branches Northallerton and Thirsk and a settled and loyal team to help us go to the next stage. Just recently, we have opened our new feed store and warehouse at Thirsk stocking a wide range of I'Ansons feeds, bedding and much more. We have some very exciting projects in the pipeline.......
